after the star Sirius in the constellation Canis Major, SiriusToys
is a breeder of champion poodles.
Canis Major has since ancient
times been the dog of Orion. Canis is forever in pursuit of
the Hare (Lepus). The belt stars in Orion point to Sirius (the
Dog
Star), which we draw as the nose of the dog.
The Egyptians
saw the star rising as the season of flooding on the Nile began, heralding the season of renewal.
About us:
At SiriusToys, our vision is to share with others the knowledge
gained from a lifetime of enjoying and loving our friends - the
dogs/bitches in our lives: Dachshunds, Beagles, Irish and Gordon
Setters, Cocker Spaniels, Great Danes, and English Bulldogs.
As a breeder of only Poodles for the past 25 years, we strive to
produce exceptional dogs:
- Poodles that mirror the Breed Standard with the potential of
finishing as a champion.
- Pet quality dogs that are healthy with a strong sense of self,
inherent in early nurturing and socialization.
It is our mission:
- To continue to have our dogs shown in the US, Canada, and Internationally.
Champions both owned and co-owned total fourteen.
- To follow a conscientious Breeding Program
- To share knowledge and information on nutrition, care, and
good health habits.
- To investigate and write about the individual characteristics
of each dog/bitch through the study and research of astrology.
- To investigate the intuitive nature of the breed. To attempt
to communicate with the poodle, emphasizing their inherent intelligence.
- To discuss the potential of breeding with our studs and bitches
- To inquire about our available puppies and dogs
- To learn more about this amazing breed

Presently, fourteen of our dogs and
bitches finished their championships in Canada under handlers
Kenneth and Jacqueline Fargey (Lacombe, Alberta, Canada).
Three have finished in the U.S., and three have finished
Internationally.
